How Does Coaching Work?

There are a number of ways you may receive coaching, such as:

  • In-person Sessions
  • Telephone Sessions (Telecoaching)
  • Email Sessions
  • In-person Group
  • Group Telephone Sessions (Teleclass)
  • Webinars

Typically a Life Coach works with clients via telephone, email or in person. Sessions are usually weekly and generally last for forty minutes.

These coaching sessions are designed to help you identify what you desire in life, develop your goals, overcome past hurts, identify and confront what may be hurting you now and define what you value in life. We want to encourage you along the way in an effort to help you achieve the success you desire. We can help you whether you are trying to overcome a challenge in life, seeking to achieve a specific goal or you just need more organization. Our goal is to help you find not just a direction in life but your true life's purpose.

Faster and more effectively than on your own, a life coach can help you achieve these and many other goals. A coach will be doing more than just listening to you. They will partner up with you to ask you thought provoking questions, garnering answers from you that will help you to discover your full passion for life.

During each coaching session you and your coach will discuss and explore your journey including your goals, opportunities, challenges, and victories. Together you will develop what is called fieldwork with your coach for the coming week. Fieldwork unlike the homework you were assigned in grade school consists of steps where you take specific actions designed to get you closer to your goals and dreams. All you will need to do is bring an agenda and your coach will employ the necessary skills to create a partnership that will move you forward.

Sessions can be focused on a specific goal or a challenge you may be facing. They can even be focused on a much broader set of personal or professional issues. Your life can be changed in a powerful way through Rhema Life Coaching!
